Ministry Opportunity

Dear Church Family,

As our congregation continues to grow in faith and numbers, we recognize the increasing needs of our beloved shut-in members, seniors, and those residing in care homes. These faithful brothers and sisters in Christ deserve dedicated pastoral care, including regular visits, spiritual encouragement, and worship services tailored to their circumstances.

The leadership at Emmanuel has been prayerfully considering calling Rev. Dan Barr as an associate pastor, whose primary focus would be a Ministry of Visitation and Care. This role would include:

  • Visiting shut-ins and senior members in their homes

  • Providing pastoral care and communion

  • Leading worship services in local care facilities

This important step would allow us to better shepherd our entire flock, ensuring no one feels forgotten or isolated.

We ask the entire congregation to join us in prayer as we seek the Lord's clear direction in this exciting opportunity. The church leadership feels that this will indeed bless our congregation and that the Lord is providing the necessary resources for the added expenses. More details will be provided in the coming weeks.

If you feel led to share thoughts, comments or have further questions regarding this ministry, please contact Pastor Schultz.

In His service,

Pastor Schultz, The Elders, the Board of Directors and the Stewardship team.

“I will give you shepherds after my own heart,

who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
