On Tuesday of this week, Cornerstone Christian School where my children attend was shut down for a positive case of Covid19. A classmate in my 8 year old's class was confirmed positive. As such, my daughter is now considered a close contact and will be quarantining at home for the mandated 14 days. The information we have received from the Director of Education of Prairie South Schools indicates: "Others in the home are not on isolation and may continue with normal activities outside of the home." This would include myself and our other family members.
I immediately sent this information to Rev. Haberstock, our Regional Pastor as well as our Elders for consideration. Our whole family is asymptomatic and feeling fine. But we all agreed that this information should be fully transparent and disclosed to our membership. You can evaluate it and do your own risk assessment. With Holy Week approaching, we will continue with our services as planned, practising extra vigilance. If anything changes, you will be notified immediately.
